Katie Rourke-Dowding ICMG
Hi there! I’m Katie Rourke Dowding – and I’m obsessed with all things to do with dog grooming.
Since January 2004, I’ve been the senior stylist at Centre Stage where I’ve focused my time on grooming my client’s dogs and inventing products to make other dog groomer’s lives easier. While at Centre Stage, my biggest accomplishment has been the invention of the Centre Stage Backdrop; a nifty device that prevents dogs from migrating to the back of the grooming table.
Prior to this role, I was the Senior Instructor at The Canine Film Academy, where I spent 15 years training dogs for the film and TV industry. This work resulted in dogs that I had trained appearing in films such as Harry Potter.
I’m always happy to connect with like-minded dog grooming professionals. Shoot me a message on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter @CentreStageDogs.
